The Colonial System does not make a secret about its agenda: To control the world and it’s inhabitants. Maybe this is why it has imposed governments in every part of the world where people live and even claim territories where people can’t live, like the oceans, Antarctica and the moon. To gain the support of humanity in this cause, the system and its many faces have to maintain the illusion that the world is a dangerous place that only the system can protect us from. While the dangers of this world are real, the system’s method of placing us under its protective bubble have put us in a situation where we no longer know how to survive without its protection and we look to it for guidance in times of perceived crisis.

Whenever the system has an agenda they want to impose on humanity, they will manufacture a crisis situation that will cause a mass panic within a group of people. From there, the system will present itself as a savior who alone has the authority and the capability to solve the problem. We see this was the case with the “War On Terror” following the “terrorist attacks” on the World Trade Center. We see this in the case of the “War On Drugs” and the mass incarceration of people of color in the US. We see this in the “Fight Against AIDS” in Merita (Africa). We see this in many cases regarding public health and safety where restrictions are imposed on us “for our own good.”

Somehow, we lose sight of the fact that humanity has survived and thrived on this planet for hundreds of thousands of years without the colonial system. It’s only in the last few hundred years since the colonial system has taken the planet by storm that we have had the impression the that the end of the world is upon us. Even still, we too often put our lives in the hands of the system, especially when they succeed in scaring the sense out of us.

Our latest major scare comes not from international terrorist syndicates, the oncoming hurricane season or even the once again skyrocketing price of gas, but from a variety of the flu, supposedly originated from pigs in Mexico. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website, Novel H1N1, affectionately known as the “Swine Flu,” was first confirmed in the United States by laboratory testing at the CDC on April 15, 2009. “It was quickly determined that the virus was spreading from person-to-person. On April 22, CDC activated its Emergency Operations Center to better coordinate the public health response. On April 26, 2009, the United States Government declared a public health emergency.”

In response to this “emergency,” at least 40 Texas campuses closed for 1 or 2 weeks due to fears over the virus. Many Americans were scared to get on planes and all Americans were warned to contact their doctors at the first sign of flu-like symptoms. The country was in a state of panic, apparently because the flu was spreading from person to person… take a second to think about that.

The Official Scoop On Swine Flu:

* Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs, caused by type A influenza viruses, that causes regular outbreaks in pigs.

* People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen.

* Swine flu viruses have been reported to spread from person-to-person, but in the past, this transmission was limited and not sustained beyond three people.

* It’s thought that novel influenza A (H1N1) flu spreads in the same way that regular seasonal influenza viruses spread; mainly through the coughs and sneezes of people who are sick with the virus.

* At this time, most people who have become ill with novel H1N1 in the United States have recovered without requiring medical treatment and have experienced typical flu symptoms.

* While, according to the CDC, it’s “uncertain at this time how serious or severe this novel H1N1 virus will be in terms of how many people infected will develop serious complications or die…”

* There have been 13,217 confirmed cases of swine flu in the US since April.

* There have been 27 deaths.

* That means there is a 0.2% chance of death from the swine flu.

The reality is there has been nothing to indicate that the swine flu is any different from the regular “seasonal” flu. The regular flu kills 36,000 people a year in the United States, even with all of our hand sanitizers and flu shots. Humanity has survived the flu since times unimaginable because the flu is treatable with a basic knowledge of hygiene and herbal medicine.

Furthermore, the CDC has yet to explain how they determine that the swine flu actually comes from pigs or what the big deal is if it does. There has been no explanation as to why the swine flu is being treated as a serious issue, whether it comes from pigs or not. The only reason the swine flu received any attention was because it was headline news for every major newspaper and TV news across the country. Without the attention from the media, swine flu would have just been treated like the regular flu because…swine flu is the regular flu. Now millions of people across America are freaking out about the regular flu.

Now that the public has officially freaked out, they are ready to accept whatever measures are put in place to “protect us” without taking the time to figure out what they are, maybe without ever hearing about them. This protection may come in the form of new laws restricting or further regulating the raising of livestock, for instance, making it more difficult for small farmers to raise animals and sell their meat. Currently, the U.S. Government is aggressively taking early steps in the process to manufacture a novel H1N1 vaccine. Who will be able to tell if the vaccine will do more harm than good? It wouldn’t be the first time, there are over 30,000 immunization reactions reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) annually, and it has been estimated that only 10% or less of vaccine reactions are reported.

The modern system neither has the ability nor does it have the intention to cure humanity of the flu. Let’s be honest, all the solutions they have brought to the crises mentioned above have been bogus, and as I wrote in the previous two entries of this column, the medical system does not have our good health in mind. Therefore, the reader is encouraged to research natural remedies to prevent and remedy the flu, but first keep this in mind.

The modern system has gone a long way to denature us so that we can only survive in a denatured environment. A big part of this is the aversion to germs. We are trained to sterilize everything with antibacterial air “freshener,” hand sanitizer, bleach in our water, and antibiotics, etc. We don’t want to expose ourselves to any germs. However, not only are we poisoning ourselves and our environments with these products, we are depriving our immune systems of the opportunity to fight off disease. Our immune systems have to fight disease in order for us to be healthy. Our immune systems not fighting disease is like refusing to walk.from our reality, we remove our ability to function in nature.

When the inevitable time comes where one has no choice but to walk, they won’t be able to. This is why Americans freak out when they are in a natural setting. Somehow, people have survived in these places for thousands of years, yet when we visit for a few days, we get seriously ill. It’s because our immune systems have been weakened because, in our sterilized environments, they are no germs to fight. Nature was not presented to us this way. When we remove a part of nature

The first sign that the flu is coming on is a sore throat or scratchy throat. This tells us that the infection is trying to spread from the head to infect the lungs and the rest of the body. When this happens, we call it the flu. Ideally, we want to deal with it beforehand. The best thing to do is to start taking preventative measures as soon as someone around us becomes sick. If we don’t have the benefit of someone else’s misfortune to warn us, we usually will have about half of a day after we get the scratchy throat before we really get sick.

Here is a list of commonly found herbs that can me used as natural anti-bacterials: (They can be boiled to make tea) cloves, mint, thyme, ginger, garlic, cayenne, goldenseal, lemon, lemongrass and sage.1/2 head to 1 whole head of garlicFinely dice or blend the garlic and apple together and add enough honey to make the taste tolerable.

One of the most effective remedies I’ve used, I learned in the Sounnt (healing) class at the Earth Center, but which is also available in The Healing Kitchen, (a book of home remedies distributed by The Earth Center):

1/2 to 1 whole head of garlic

1 green apple

some honey

Chop finely or blend apple and garlic

Add honey

Eat slowly.

This remedy is effective against the scratchy throat, but is mostly used for a more serious flu bug.

It’s also helpful to suck on a few cloves (not cloves of garlic, just cloves) for hours throughout the day or while sleeping.

A couple of tea blends that I’ve found to be effective are: Sage, Mint, Thyme and Goldenseal and Lemon, Garlic and Cayenne

This is just one step on the path of taking our own health and our own survival into our own hands. We see the ill intentions the that the modern system has for us. If we are unable to care for our own health, we will continue to have no choice but to put our health in their hands. We must always keep in mind that humanity has survived up until very recently without the modern system. We must still be able to survive once it’s gone.
